Meet The Amcor Team

Amcor is staffed by friendly professionals who are trained in meeting the needs of drivers, dispatchers, and trucking companies. Each of our mechanics has over 15 years experience with working on trucks and a minimum of ten years experience providing road service. Our service dispatchers and office manager have a similar range of experience and are a vital part of our rapid road service team.

Our Company

Amcor 24-hour Truck And Tire Service has been in business for over 15 years and is still going strong. Amcor was founded by Chuck Willyard, a certified General Motors mechanic, diesel truck mechanic, and former Air Force aircraft mechanic. Chuck often saw truck drivers stranded along the Atlanta highways, and he knew they needed some quick help from a mechanic to get back on the road. Calling a wrecker would mean that the trucking company would end up paying for both the towing service and a mechanic to fix the problem. It would also take even longer for the truck to reach its final destination. That's when he decided to leave his job at a local Cadilac dealership to build Amcor.

Amcor's focus on road service means that our mechanics have all they need to work on your truck from their work trucks. To keep costs down, we do not maintain a shop. This allows us to stay flexible and meet the needs of drivers on the go. If your mechanical problem is such that we can't work on it on the road, we will refer you to a reputable shop near your location.
